Conditions of acceptance of cats for boarding
- CANCELLATION OF A BOOKING WHICH IS LESS THAN ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE
DATE OF ARRIVAL WILL RESULT IN THE FULL BOARDING FEE BEING CHARGED.
- DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE or TRANSFERABLE
- No cat can be accepted without a valid certificate of inoculation against Feline
Panluekopenia (FIE), Feline Calici Virus (FCV) and Feline Viral Rhinotrachetis (FVR)
this must be provided to comply with our licensing agreement.
- All cats must be neutered unless they are too young.
- All cats must have an up-to-date flea and worming treatment, if there is evidence of
external parasites when boarding we will ask for written consent via email to carry out
the relevant treatment.
- When boarding cats from the same household you give us permission for them to share
a joining unit and to be separated if necessary, during their stay.
- Whilst all possible care and attention will be given, cats are boarded entirely at the
owner's risk.
- The cattery has the owner's authority, to the extent we consider necessary, at the entire
cost of the Owner to seek treatment by a veterinary practitioner. This includes visits by
a vet to the cattery, the administration of medicine, anaesthetic, surgery or euthanasia.
In such circumstances we will email you or your emergency contact to get written
confirmation on which veterinary practice is to be used. We will keep a record of any
such treatment. Unless euthanasia is imperative for the welfare of the cat it must not
take place without the consent of the owner or emergency contact.
- All boarding rates are charged daily inclusive of the date of arrival and departure, and
payment of all charges MUST be paid prior to departure.
- All cats will be transported to and from the cattery in a secure basket. Unless by prior
arrangement, all deliveries and collections will be made during cattery hours
- If the cat(s) left in our care is/are not collected on the correct day and no further contact
is made 28 days from the collection day, the proprietor reserves the right to re-home the
cat(s).
- Unlike many catteries we are happy to take elderly or diabetic cats and we take the
greatest care. But we would point out that for some cats coming into a cattery can be a
stressful experience. This in turn can have an adverse effect on certain cats especially
the elderly, sick or diabetic.
